This is not about wine, just a good excuse to get out on the bike and work off lunch! Choose from 25, 50, 75 and 100km options as the Ballarat Bushwalking and outdoor Club host the 19th BAD Ride. |

Making its third appearance but for the first time in Ballarat, this international event promises to deliver some superb photography. The month long festival is based around the arts precinct of inner Ballarat with some outlying towns offering a fringe exhibition program. The vast majority of exhibitions are free to enter. Take the time to explore the different offerings of the festival, then take some time out to explore the local wines. |

Following on from last year’s successful inaugural celebration, this weekend highlights the premium wines being produced in this emerging wine region. Take the opportunity to discover them for yourselves. All producers are small, passionate and hands-on and will be available to tell you why Ballarat produces such great Pinot and Chardonnay.
